A monthly for beginning amateur photographers, in the tradition of Ars’ prewar Camera Club.
Promoted as a ‘monthly photography course’ and produced under the supervision of Ina Nobuo, Domon Ken, Kanamaru Shigene, Tanaka Masao, Matsugi Fujio and Kimura Ihei, it emphasized the the history of photography and appreciation of photographs.
In Januari 1953 the name was changed to ‘Camera Club’ and Tamada Ken’ichirō became editor.
